Football Club Internazionale Milano, commonly referred to as simply Internazionale, Inter or Inter Milan, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy and was originally founded in 1908. The club are the only side in Italian football to have spent their entire history at the top tier, where they currently play in 2007–08 as defending champions.
Internazionale, who play in black and blue striped shirts with white shorts have fifteen Serie A titles to their name; only their rivals Juventus and AC Milan have won more. Including the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup, Inter have a total of 23 trophies won in Italy.

Inter play their home games at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, also known as the San Siro. The ground, which they share with rivals AC Milan, is the largest in Italian football, with a total capacity of 85,700

ROME - Philippe Mexes and Simone Perrotta scored in each half of the 60th Coppa Italia final to prevent Inter from completing a league and cup double.
The Frenchman produced an exceptional finish from Pizarro's corner in the 36th minute after the Giallorossi stepped up a gear following an end-to-end opening half hour.
Italian international Perrotta added the second from a counter attack shortly after the restart.
Inter sub Pelé reduced the arrears with a magnificent goal and Burdisso headed against the upright as the Nerazzurri went down fighting.
Both sides were denied by the offside flag early on, the first real chance falling to Perrotta who saw his close-range effort blocked by Chivu in the 18th minute.
Vieira headed narrowly over and Maxwell's snapshot was well saved by Doni before a period of Giallorossi pressure that led to Mexes' opener.
Roma added to their lead nine minutes into the second half, from a counter attack after Cesar was robbed of the ball. Perrotta one-twoed with Vucinic and slotted into an open goal with Toldo stranded.
Pelé, on for Stankovic at half time, gave a reply within six minutes of Perrotta's strike. The Portuguese youngster controlled Aquilani's headed clearance and rifled into the top right corner from 25 yards.
Buoyed by Pelé's wonder goal Inter furiously attacked their opponents and Burdisso almost snatched a dramatic equaliser, his header coming back off the post.
But Roma went closer to a third than Inter to a second, Aquilani curling a low shot inches wide in the final stages as the Giallorossi held on for their second consecutive cup final victory, equalling Juventus' record of nine Coppa Italias.
