aku pun mintak2 ada goals galore sebenarnya...
tapi, big sam, ada aje akal dia nak pasang tembok 10 lapis.
teringat la tengok match dengan cska hari tu... bosan nak mampus... tapi, united hold possession. o'shea jadik 'insurans' pada malam tu (aku pinjam ayat abu bakar atan masa zaman UCL disiarkan rangkaian tv media prima).
kalau striker department .. january nie confirm mame diouf join man utd
confirm la dlm list die duk blakang rooney n berbatov.. confirm kene anta reserve dulu. ntah2 naseb die same mcm manucho. so, kene la beli yg world class terus..
Foster - will have been grateful to see so many efforts fail to hit the target, but did well when called upon 7
Fabio - stood up well to Barnsley’s physical presence but was rarely allowed to show his attacking flair 7
Evans - given a torrid time in the centre of defence as he and Brown struggled to cope with Anderson and Bogdanovic 6
Brown - will have been disappointed to see how much joy Barnsley had from set pieces as well as the chances they created in open play 6
Neville - will be desperately disappointed with himself for his straight red card. Better was expected from the most experienced player on the pitch 5
Welbeck - put United ahead despite playing out of position on the left. Could consider himself unfortunate not to get longer 7
Rafael - playing in an unfamiliar role in the centre of midfield, showed his highly competitive side and some good touches 7
Anderson - in the unusual role of old head among an inexperienced midfield, he was overrun after Neville was shown red 7
Obertan - steady debut without any fireworks. Ferguson expects much more to come from the winger and it was crucial to get these minutes under his belt 7
Owen - missed an early second half chance, but looked like his old self when slotting home to put United two up 7
Macheda - plenty of muscle but not enough impact from the Italian who is supposedly interesting Gordon Strachan 6
Substitutes
Tosic (for Welbeck, 53) - United fans are still waiting to see what they have in the Serbian winger, but he spent most of his time watching Barnsley's onslaught 6
De Laet (for Owen 65) Failed to curb Barnsley’s attack 6
Sape ada tengok? Kind of weird dengan Rafael Owen in center midfield
Fergie salutes Owen strike

SIR Alex Ferguson hailed Michael Owen after the striker rolled back the years to fire United through to the last eight of the Carling Cup.
Owen produced a vintage second half strike to seal a 2-0 win against a spirited Barnsley.
The United striker is desperate to earn an England recall, and will hope his strike will send another reminder to Fabio Capello, whose side face Brazil next month.
Ferguson said: “It was a fantastic goal. [b]He had such quick feet, it was a marvelous finish, just a great goal[b].”
It remains to be seen if it will be enough to catch Capello’s attention. The Italian was not on hand to see the stunning strike and has failed to witness any of Owen’s three goals since his summer move to United.
But Owen insists he is calm about his international future.
"England is not something I go on the pitch thinking about, I just go out there trying to help the players,” he said. "It's up to the England manager what he thinks."
Another player hoping to figure in Capello’s plans, Danny Welbeck, fired United ahead after just six minutes to put the Carling Cup holders in charge.
But United didn’t have it all their own way with Gary Neville shown a straight red for a lunge in the second half.
Ferguson said: "I've just seen the sending off, and Gary did follow through with the tackle and caught the player.
“It was not high, just above the ankle, but in the present climate I would say that the referee was probably correct.”
Ferguson added: "Barnsley worked very hard and put in a lot of effort, and they had one or two chances after we went down to ten men.
“But over all I think we deserved to win the game and I'm delighted with the response from the players.”
Meanwhile Barnsley confirmed they will launch a full investigation after the catering area in the concourse of the visiting end of Oakwell was vandalised.

Ferdinand set to be dropped by Fergie
Quote:
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has called into question Rio Ferdinand's form amid reports that the defender could be dropped following a series of below par performances.
The England defender's exploits for both club and country have been littered with costly errors and lapses of concentration, the latest of which allowed an 80% fit Fernando Torres to score Liverpool's opening goal in United's 2-0 defeat at Anfield on Sunday.
Both The Sun and The Times call into question Ferdinand's future at Old Trafford with the club management apparently concerned that the 30-year-old defender has lost two yards of pace and will not be able to recover his top form.
Ferdinand gifted Craig Bellamy a goal in the Manchester derby in September and then his error led to England goalkeeper Robert Green being sent off against Ukraine at the start of October.
And Ferguson has even questioned whether the centre-back, who has struggled with injuries, will be able to keep his place in Fabio Capello's England squad for World Cup 2010 next summer.
"He has to get good form," Ferguson said. "That's an important issue for the coach to pick the right team. In defence you've maybe got more options than other positions. He'll need to get his form right."
Manchester United's highly-rated Northern Ireland centre-back Johnny Evans is tipped for an extended run in the team alongside Nemanja Vidic.

Valencia admit Villa and Silva could be sacrificed
Quote:
Valencia have conceded they may struggle to retain the services of David Villa and David Silva, who have both been linked with a possible move to Manchester United.
Valencia managed to keep both players at the Mestalla over the summer despite some crippling financial problems, with Real Madrid linked with Villa and Silva a target for Liverpool.
The two Spain internationals are now reported to be targets for Sir Alex Ferguson as a large portion of the £80 million received for Cristiano Ronaldo has not been reinvested in the playing staff at Old Trafford.
As Valencia continue to battle against their financial problems, director Fernando Gomez has conceded that sales could be inevitable and that Villa, in particular, could be sacrificed.
"The club made a great effort to keep our players this summer but our economic situation remains very serious," Gomez told Spanish television. "It was a success to keep them, but there comes a point when you can't stand it anymore. We may have to sell Villa."
Villa was the top scorer at Euro 2008 while Silva was also a key member of Luis Aragones' side that triumphed in Austria and Switzerland.

striker department rasanya dah
aku tak rasa dah langsung
sebab forwards not delivering the goods
cuba tengok .. rooney
sebab rooney kan season ni & in foreseable future
regarded as main striker united
against liverpool .. takde menunjukkan ciri2
untuk un-do liverpool
memang tak dinafikan .. performance as a whole
tak on par with what united can offer
but then again .. rooney is supposedly to be a worldclass player
worldclass player should & have to
perform with or without team's performance
plus .. even if those type of players does not play rightfully of 89 minutes
but they just need a minute of brilliance
oppo's dont feel the same fear to rooney
as playing against ronaldo & messi
plus
berbatov should elevate himself to a better goal-scorer
welbeck & macheda may have the ability
both may have future prospect
but then .. in near games .. rasanya susah both players nak deliver the goods
week in .. week out
whereas owen pulak .. masih ada those goal scoring instinct
masalahnya .. the chances created by united midfielders are so ...............
jadi jika fergie dapat persuade villa
memang a totally excellent prospect la
memang places upfront makin havoc
those that dont score upon given chances once selected
will definately be drop .. in a way .. ok apa
