WOW!!! haha... good good... tp TDP VIA still lg tinggi... the only setback of Atom is die punye bus reduced to very low level... so, part performance mmg Atom out compare ngan mane2 processor skali pn... tp, reduction tu tlh membolehkan Atom mencapai ~2W TDP, tp mslhnyer chipset die coupled tuh Intel wat mabok... sampai 22W... gile hape... haha...

anyway, bg aku kalo ade alternatif lain kepada platform Intel Atom, better go for it... Intel Atom yg ade skang still kelihatan seperti bahan eksperimen marketing... kite tunggu Intel Atom dari platform Pineview... cmne agaknyer...

ak rs system problem... mgkn ad software yg krg stable... kejap ok, kejap xok... ganggu execution program lain...

one thing ko boleh try is driver detective atau driver magician atau seangkatan dengannya... tp ko kene dptkan internet dulu la... software2 ni mampu detect hardware ko dan search driver die over the internet... lps install, ko leh backup ko punye driver2 tuh gune software yg sama, then burn kan dlm cd...

aku da try msk lmn web acer, buat mase nih mmg xde support... scripting website acer mmg senantiasa bermasalah... dari dulu sampai skang xelok2... sape la webmaster diorang nih... haha...

anyway, another alternatif ko g tanye mane2 Acer service center tuk replacement CD... bg no model, usually they keep copies... so, leh beli dari diorang... harga? dont know...

kalo ikutkan processor yg digunakan, Intel Atom (Diamondville maupun Silverthorne) mmg very low TDP... tp sbnrnyer problem die bkn la dari processor... tp chipset yg digunakan tuk coupled dgn Intel Atom nih... most netbook gune chipset i945... chipset ni adalah sama exactly dgn i945 yg digunakan tuk notebook kalo xsilap aku... TDP chipset ni ~22W... most nettops guna aktif cooling (kipas on heatsink) utk chipset dan passive cooling tuk processor menunjukkan betapa xbestnyer heat dari chipset nih...

xsampai 10k... xsilap aku la, plg murah 3.5k - 4k... better spec, dlm 5k-6k...

aku pakai V3000 elok je... xde plk mslh mobo... tp for sure, mmg ade byk mslh ngan Compaq V3000... aku kene mslh kipas, skang ni dvd drive cam da start problem... warranty pn xabis lagi... huahauhau...

anyway, kalo nk beli laptop Vaio... beli la kalo rs duit xabis je... huhu... selain tu, aku rs baik ko beli Dell XPS... harga pn lebih kurang je rsnyer dua tuh... xde la jauh sgt pn beza... cuma Sony mahal dkt nama... Dell dkt performance...

lps ko shrink kan D:, right click on C:, pilih extend... and then follow instruction from wizard... select unpartitioned sector time die tanye tuh...

tp kalo xboleh care tu, aku xsure la sbb ape...

aku xsure, since aku xpernah pakai... tp based on review yg aku bace, not really good...

Toshiba claimed 4 hours of battery life, reviewer said only 2.5hours (WinXP version)... dan jgk, die punye keyboard design sume xbest... so, itu reviewer yg ckp... lg, itu netbook jgk xdtg dgn optical drive (of course) but software tuk cd dan dvd ade jgk... wahahaha... kelako siot... reviewer tu ckp, it is as it Toshiba rushing into producing this netbooks sampai ke thp, amik je Windows dari Notebook version, load kan driver2 netbook tu, dan install...

tp ade byk komen2 positif dari segi performance... ppl said that it have outstanding performance... so, maybe ko kene test sendiri baru tau...

setkt nih, yg aku nmpk org duk puji2 Dell Mini 9... amik yg ni ok kot, come with built-in maxis broadband modem... huahuahau...

bkn ke boleh kalo ko shrink Local Disk(D:), maka akan ade satu unpartition sector dlm tu... combine kan unpartitioned sector tu dgn Local Disk(C:)... rsnyer boleh je buat gitu...

hoho... tidak sama sekali... mmg makin kecik makin kurang heat (kalo xsilap, Intel Atom hanye 2W TDP)... tp, bile dicramp dlm space yg kecik... even small heat can be amplified due to lack of ventilation... tol x???

kalo MBR saje da 35GB, aku belasah sume manufacturer, microsoft sume... xkan MBR besar dari OS... perghhhhh... Vista pn xsampai 10GB, MBR 35GB??? giler kentang... hahaha...

MBR atau Master Boot Record... kalo kite bace satu2 pn, da phm ape benda MBR nih... Boot = proses nk startup satu2 komputer... Boot Record = rekod utk proses time nk startup komputer... Master Boot Record = rekod utama proses boot...

kalu kite tgk kat Wikipedia... die da ckp, MBR hanye bersize 512 bytes... dimana ia mengandungi partition table, OS bootstrapping (atau proses nk startup OS la) dan jgk identifier disk media...

xpsl2 aku gelak kat ofis ni sorang2.... kalo ade org lalu konfem kate aku gile... haha...

betol tu... HDD manufacturers define 500GB as 500,000,000,000 bytes... so, bile kite windows calculate blk 1024 bytes = 1kB... 500,000,000,000/1024/1024/1024 = 465.66GB...

maksudnyer, bkn la anda kehilangan 35GB... cuma definition windows dan manufacturer berbeza...

ak xrasa corrupt tu sbb connection ko... tp mmg dari server lagi da corrupt... sbb org tu buat rar dlm rar... most probably, portion of the data being splitted twice da corrupt...
