Capcom has once again ported a lackluster console game to the PC. While we may never know why the company chooses not to port its better games, we do know that Chaos Legion is still a repetitive and bland hack-and-slash game on the PC, just as it was on the PlayStation 2.

In the game, you play as a knight named Sieg Warheit, who is tasked with stopping a man named Victor Delacroix from collecting powerful magical artifacts. The two men and these artifacts are linked by past events; Sieg killed Delacroix's lover, and now Delacroix is hoping to use these magical artifacts to bring his beloved back to life, even if it means causing wanton destruction along the way. The game uses cutscenes between missions to advance the plot, but the silly dialogue and convoluted scene direction make following the story more difficult than it needs to be. The cutscenes include decent but unremarkable voice acting, much like the music and other sound in the game.

Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest was created by New World Computing as a mix of two computer games: 'Might and Magic' and 'King's Bounty'. King's Bounty gave the concept of a hero that runs around the map, seen from the top, and collects creatures to fight for him, as well as resources to buy those creatures. As for Might and Magic (series), it has provided a setting for the game: heroes, creatures, land and quests were mostly like in Might and Magic. The mix appeared to be a whole new kind of game that fans loved: four castles with associated buildings, creatures and heroes, system of resources, hero skill advancement and magic, various map locations, artifacs that enhance heroes' abilities and the ability to have several heroes at once.

The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King - PC Rip Version

Metal Fatigue

Quote:
Many real-time strategy games center on massive battles between different types of tanks. Metal Fatigue takes this convention to the next level by focusing on "combots," giant robots reminiscent of those in various Japanese animated cartoon series. Metal Fatigue's concept is innovative both in its modular unit design and in its multilevel battlefields that take place in orbit, on the surface, and underground all at once; but the game's unbalanced units, as well as a few interface problems, cut it short of its potential.

Quote:
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero is a game from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. It featured the original Sub-Zero in an adventure to defeat Quan Chi from retrieving an amulet that would free the fallen Elder God Shinnok.

Although released five years after the first Mortal Kombat game, the storyline in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero dates back furthest chronologically, even before the first game. This was done to further expand elements on the existing storyline, especially concerning Quan Chi, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Shinnok, and the Lin Kuei.

Thousands of years ago, Shinnok existed as an Elder God. The Elder Gods are the true rulers of all realms. They watch as worlds are created and destroyed and govern the realms with untold eons of wisdom. Shinnok, however, gave in to greed and illusions of false power through the new realm of Earth. If he could have that realm to himself, he would have power unmatched. To accomplish his goal, he first would have to face the god of thunder known as Raiden, who was appointed as Earth's guardian by the Elder Gods themselves. Their battle for the realm of Earth was fierce; causing the planet's near destruction and plunging it into centuries of darkness.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End -- PC Rip Version

Quote:
It's almost hard to believe in this day and age of movie and game tie-ins, but other than a couple of handheld games, the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie didn't have a companion game on consoles. Disney Interactive Studios is making up for lost time with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, which features plotlines from both the second and third Pirates movies. While the game does a solid job of capturing the look and humor of the movies, it fails to emulate the films' action sequences very well. The combat is extremely simple, and you'll grow tired of mashing on the attack button well before you reach the end of the game.

Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 definitely plays a more attack-minded game of soccer than its predecessors, but that certainly hasn't come at the expense of the game's defensive play. Defensive players are every bit as responsive as their attacking colleagues, and you'll retain the ball much more often after well-executed sliding tackles than has been the case previously.

PRINCE OF PERSIA 3 - THE TWO THRONE - PC RIP VERSION

The Two Thrones provides a satisfying conclusion to the Sands of Time trilogy, with a lot of the same puzzle-solving and gorgeous environments you remembered from the previous two games.

Virtual Rollcage Stage II (Thinstalled)

Quote:
Rollcage Stage II is the sequel to Rollcage and as in the original it features cool,
drive anywhere, flip over cars that race at extreme speeds.
Furthermore the unique driving experience offered by Rollcage is still retained
and has been improved on.

Like any sequel there is more of everything - more cars, more tracks and more game modes.
But, it's not just a case of more is better, the developers have obviously listened
to the critics of Rollcage and have gone to great lengths to make the game more fun,
easy to pick up and more rewarding.

Twisted Metal 2

Quote:
After choosing one of 12 deviant cars, you drive it from your raised chase-car perspective through mostly uninspired arenas, picking up health, napalm, and other assorted weapons of mass destruction in hopes of being the last one standing. Racing around the area, you try to pick off the other contestants before they take you out of the game. As a nice little sadistic sidelight: Scattered throughout are the poorly rendered unprotected groupie, skateboarder, and other assorted out-of-place pedestrians that you can run over (well you don't really run them over, it's more like you push them for a few hundred feet before they disappear from the screen).
