Nick's P.O.V Ashley. Ashley is popular. I've known her for years but we don't talk. That time was like the only time we talked. But I felt something weird when I looked in her eyes. She had my bandana my red bandana. That was given to me by Derek. The bandana was in my hands. Her smell was in it. It was strong but I liked it. I shook off my thoughts about her and went to the meeting with Derek. I was late. I arrived and took the seat beside Derek. Derek: Guys....and Girls. We're gonna have our annual drinking party later in the creek beach. And later night we're gonna have a ramble with the sharks. The fighters are going to be limited. I am going to choose. Sean, Kyle, Jason, Andy, Mike, and Zeak. Kyle: But Derek what about Nick? He's the best figher we have here Derek: The sharks are weak. So I bet you guys can take them. I only leave it to Nick when we fight against the Sheers, Flames, or Mercedes. Your all dissmissed. But Nick and Demi you stay. Everyone left except for me and Demi. Demi is my friend from everyone here. She's a person I could trust. She hurts the girls not guys. She's pretty nice but gets really agressive when someone is in her way. Derek: Nick, I saw you in the hall way talking to Ashley the popular girl. And she wasn't scared of you. Were you being nice to her? Nick: No. She wouldn't get away. Demi: Ok then what am I here for? Derek: Your gonna be Ashley's friend for a while. Your the second nicest Demi: Is this pretend? Derek: No it's real. Just to get her scared of Nick Demi: Oh ok Nick: Why do you want her to get scared of me? Derek: Because it's your reputation Nick: Ok Derek: Your dissmissed. We both left out of the place. I saw Demi go to Ashley. There's something about Ashley that makes me wanna protect her. But Demi won't hurt her. Demi's P.O.V I knew Ashley for years. I mean I don't talk to her and stuff but I know she's the nicest popular girl anyone would meet. She's not a slut. She's not a cheerleader. She's nice. But one thing what's wrong about her is that she's dating Rick. He's a big jerk. I used to date Rick until he hurt me so badly. Thats how I became in Derek's gang. I was very agressive. Derek saw what I did to people and wanted me in his group. Ok I am not jealous of Ashley dating Rick. I just don't want to see her hurt when he breaks her heart. Thats what I'm here for. I walked up to Ashley and started talking to her. Demi: Hi Ashley Ashley: Hi Demi. Aren't you from Derek's gang? Demi: Yeah Ashley: And he allowed you to talk to me? Demi: *laughs* Yeah. So wanna like do something together? Ashley: You wanna hang out with me? Demi: Yeah. We're not against each other anyway Ashley: Good point She starts walking away from her group and start walking with me. Demi: So I guess since your popular, you don't like doing the stuff I'm in to Ashley: Hey just because I'm popular doesn't mean I can't do other things Demi: Ok. Wanna go write in the wall? Ashley: What wall? Demi: You don't know about the wall Ashley: No Demi: The wall was invented 9 years ago. And ever since kids has been writing stuff in it. Our group has always written something in them. Ashley: Oh ok. I wanna try. Demi: Ok grab this spray pain. What color do you want? Ashley: Red Demi: Ok I gave her the red spray paint and we walked around the school to the wall. We finally wrote. It was kinda quiet until she asked me something. Ashley: So uhh.....you kinda see Nick often huh? Demi: He's like my brother. I know him too well. You know him? Ashley: Yeah. He left his bandana in the floor and I picked it up. He came back to get it and thats when we met. Demi: So do you like him? Ashley: I just think he's interesting. He's a mystery Demi: Yeah. It's hard for people to see the real Nick Ashley: So who is the real Nick? Demi: You'll know when your ready Ashley: Ok....and done I looked at her work. She drew a skull with bones behind it.
